Jeep is used for
off-road, certainly has an impressive amount of equipment, ranging bumpers, wheels, tires and 4X4 system. Beyond the equipment off road, then is there a Jeep that is supported by multi-engine? Jeep Hurricane is the answer. Hurricane, is one of the new Jeep is equipped with two HEMI engines.
First exhibited at the International Auto Show in North America in 2005, the Jeep Hurricane concept is likely to be one of the
new concept off road vehicles the most awaited. Hurricane certainly supported by two types HEMI engine is capable of producing a total of 670 horsepower with 740lb-ft of torque. Dual Hemi engine is placed on the front hood and rear. Double HEMI engine in Hurricane is one of the modern HEMI engine that is equipped with the Multi-Displacement System. Which allows the rider is set as required, where Hurricane can be powered by 4, 8, 12 or 16 cylinders. And with the support of MDS, double HEMI engine is still fuel efficient.

wikipedia, Hemi engine is one that is quite famous Chrysler products, produced from 1951 to 1958, this engine was first known as the Chrysler Firepower Engine. Modern Hemi engine in Hurricane is a type 5.7 L which was released in 2003 and is also used by some Chrysler products, such as the famous, Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500, Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2006 Dodge Charger R / T, and many more .
5.7 L Hemi engine on hurricane certainly better and more complex than HEMI engines in the 1950s-70s. The engine room is no longer truly hemispherical. To shorten the fireplace, modern HEMI uses two spark plugs per cylinder. And ensure low emissions and produce a more stable combustion. And modern HEMI engine is believed to produce greater horsepower but still fuel efficient.

Shown above extreme without roof cover, and without doors, body Jeep Hurricane is dominated by carbon fiber materials. And certainly it is very lightweight vehicles. However, in order to stay strong to get through all the tough off-road terrain, Hurricane certainly still has a number of off-road equipment such as front and rear bumper, towing, off road tires and wheels, 4x4 Command Trac system. And certainly Hurricane was able to move from 0-60 less than five seconds. Another interesting feature of the Jeep Hurricane is featured on the axle.
